Lemon Pesto Cavatappi

Ingredients

  • 1 serving al dente cooked cavatappi

  • 3 Tablespoons Lemon Pesto Butter

  • ½ cup pasta water

  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese

  • ¼ cup chopped basil leaves

  • 2 Tablespoons of finely chopped parsley (optional)


Preparation

  1. Combine cavatappi, 2 Tablespoons (reserve 1 Tablespoon) of Lemon Pesto Butter, and pasta water in a pan over medium-low heat.

  2. Lightly toss to evenly coat pasta

  3. Take off heat and add the reserved 1 Tablespoon of Lemon Pesto Butter

  4. Stir in parmesan cheese, chopped basil leaves, and parsley.

  5. Garnish with a wedge of lemon, parsley and basil (optional)


Serving Suggestions:

Serve with your choice of protein
